OVERVIEW / CUSTOMER PROFILE
Seeking energetic professionals with expertise in cost and schedule analysis inclusive of schedule development, modification, and coordination to support Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs within United States Air Force (USAF).
This is an opportunity to coordinate planning and tracking of key schedule elements for the DCGS Portfolio
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with Program Management Office (PMO) requirements personnel on a variety of projects
Plan, build, coordinate, and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) at a program portfolio level
Communicate and coordinate IMS activities among functional disciplines within the PMO
Provide IMS technical products (e.g. GANTT charts, network diagrams, etc.)
Ensure integrated schedule management, technical support to system acquisition processes, and collaborate and incorporate key schedule requirements to ensure mission success
Support requirements development, plan preparation, and assess ability to achieve results
Communicate schedule objectives, plan, and status to the customer, project team, and management
Have an advanced understanding of scheduling tools, to include MS Project
Review and assess official program documents to include, but not limited to, Acquisition Strategy Plans, Requests for Proposal, Statements of Work, CDRL’s, Policies, Department of Defense/Air Force/Center guidance/instruction, Integrated Master Plans, and Program Contractor Proposals for solicitations for compliance and consistency with data item description requirements, alternate business management strategy requirements, and schedule standards and best practices
Review and analyze contract documents such as Delivery Orders, Purchase Orders, and associated modifications for cost and schedule information related to DCGS projects and requirements
Collaborate with PMO requirements personnel to identify gaps associated with incoming requirements and projects; coordinate requirements planning for future support
Capture and update forecasted and achieved cost savings, avoidance, and transfers associated with incoming requirements and projects vs. legacy requirements and projects
Document all assessment results and be prepared to explain and justify findings and make recommendations
Provide key take-aways to leadership to manage timely award of future contracts and efforts in alignment with emerging PMO requirements
Assist program managers in development and execution of contract strategies and program plans
CANDIDATE STRENGTHS:
Familiar with modern software program collaboration and tracking tools (MS Teams, Confluence, Jira, etc.)
Technical fast learner with the ability to communicate with multiple functional teams to gather (programmatic/contract/technical) data and translate it into cost and schedule impacts for the Government
Experienced problem solver, comfortable working in ambiguous environments with the ability to lead schedule focused conversations with cross functional teams
Approachable team player with the skillset to successfully work a variety of projects and take direction from multiple sources at once
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Top Secret level clearance
Relevant Experience - 5 to 7 years of scheduling experience with 3 specific to DoD or USG scheduling experience
EDUCATION:
Must have a BS/BA with 21 semester hours in quantitative analysis courses, plus 3 semester hours of Calculus or Statistics
