Our customer is a large Health Plan Provider
- This role focuses on Administrative Services Only (ASO), a type of business arrangement used by employers who hire an outside company to administer certain employee health benefits. The vendor provides administrative services only, not the benefit itself.
Seeking a Senior Account Manager ASO who will:
- Be responsible for maintaining solid, long-term relationships with the firms largest and most complex ASO accounts
- Deliver best-in-class, day-to-day account service to ensure retention objectives are met.
- Provide strategic account oversight and leadership in all interactions related to the client including annual renewal negotiations and annual contract review processes.
- Understand client demands.
- Develop plans to meet these demands.
- Work with the functional areas within the organization to identify the areas where the services intersect with the client demands.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's Degree -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
- 10+ years of experience in self insured health plans
- Experience and comfort with public speaking and/or group presentation
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Strong ASO and/or TPA background with a strong understanding of stop loss and the self-insured market needs
- Relevant experience in all aspects of self-insured health plan benefits and service with a proven ability to problem solve
