Intermedia Group has the following open position with one of our clients:
TITLE: Senior Business Analyst / Project Lead – DATA PRIVACY
DURATION: 1-year contract with intent convert to client perm employee at end
TARGET RATE: $55 per hour (w2) -or- 60 per hour corp to corp -or- $97,000 salaried with benefits
Our client is seeking a Senior NON-TECHNICAL Project Lead / Business Analyst to work as part of their INFORMATION PROTECTION AND ASSURANCE (IPA) TEAM
THE TEAM is responsible for the preparation, detection and analysis, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident activity related to the exposure of confidential client or business data.

THIS ROLE is a non-technical role responsible for running meetings, tracking, writing reports, responding to inquiries from internal Compliance, Legal and outside Regulators.
It is a Senior Role, acting as the voice for the team
The role will entail some team and operations leadership as well as providing day to day guidance over the operations.
Although the team consists of Incident responders and forensic specialists, this role DOES NOT REQUIRE a candidate have any past experience in that area.
The manager would like to see a candidate have experience either in Information Security or Data Privacy

Experience with the CIA triad model (confidentiality, integrity, and availability) as it relates to business data, is a major plus
Specific Responsibilities include:
  • Manage multiple highly complex confidentiality events with multiple stakeholders through the initial stages of incident response.
  • Elicit and document triage of potential data exposure to establish a clear understanding of the business impact and stakeholders’ environment in support of incident record creation,
  • Create high quality functional documentation, including technical and business specifications,
  • Interfacing with business leaders, compliance, and legal stakeholders on business or regulatory impact of the data exposure and translating the findings into analytics/reporting documentation,
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, establishing action items, producing / managing documentation, and tracking action item status,
  • Create standard operating procedures as needed,
  • Acts as a liaison between information security area and business organization by planning, conducting, and directing meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Extremely well organized with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines,
  • Communication skills to seek out details, express ideas, and present solutions in ways audience can understand,
  • Extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs and flowcharts,
  • Demonstrated writing, editing, and proofing skills with attention to clarity, grammar, and detail,
  • Knowledge of the CIA triad; confidentiality, integrity, and availability as it relates to business data
