Intermedia Group has an opening for the following Contractor:

TITLE Logistics Support Analyst (International Commerce)
TYPE: Contract
LOCATION: Midtown Manhattan
DURATION: 6 Months +
COMP: $22 - $25/hour on a W2

Position Summary
  • Serves as a customer liaison by providing support and assistance with regards to schedule deliveries, tracking of shipments, billing, account receivable and managing inventory.
  • Responsible for managing the order process from the acceptance of an order through the completion of the process of invoicing and payment receipt.
  • Receive, review and prepare air and ocean shipping documentation including Booking confirmations, ISF, Bill of Ladings, Arrival Notices, Shipping Instructions, Delivery Orders and Customs Release Forms.
  • Accurately manage all purchase orders from our partners, including entering of orders, releasing orders to the warehouse, monitoring shipment status, and troubleshooting any issues.
  • Monitor weekly open order reporting to ensure accuracy and communicate required changes.
  • Download/ upload Excel orders from EDI or customer's portals, facilitate necessary order confirmation, coordinate shipments per customer requirements, and submit information for final processing.
  • Reviews all purchase orders for accuracy before processing (including pricing, products, Inco term, freight term, payment term etc.)
  • Accurate data entry into SAP system; including order entry, credits, debits and invoicing
  • Communicate order confirmation, ship dates, and tracking information to customers, maintaining shipment trackers for each account and purchasing team
  • Oversee EDI sales orders and invoicing, while providing sales support to ensure EDI orders are accurate
  • Support all aspects of pricing, pricing requests from customer and sales
  • Input into EDI system account/SKU level projections and forecasts.
  • Maintain excel spreadsheet for inbound shipments and prepare, conduct, and analyze End of Month inventory in conjunction with Accounting department
  • Resolve and Investigate all shipping issues, including short-ships, damages, shipping delays, incomplete orders, overdue payments etc. in a timely manner
  • Manage internal files and documentation for all purchase orders, including PO copy, packing lists, proof of delivery, cost accounting file, ASN detail, import shipment documentation, and any other related documentation.
  • Solid MS Excel skills and data management skills are the most important, due to dealing with large volumes of data in two separate databases (EDI/SAP-MINTS GBS system.)
  • Knowledge of International Commerce (INCO) Terms and import/ export processes.
  • SAP/EDI knowledge and experience preferred
  • Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in a supply chain environment
  • Excellent and professional written and verbal communication skills required
  • Strong tendency for numbers and data analysis, quick learner, problem-solver
