Our firm, Intermedia Group, Inc., a large NY based staffing firm has an open position in NYC for one of our large Banking clients.
 
TITLE: Banking (Portfolio Management) Operations Support / Administrative Assistant III
LOCATION: New York City (Midtown Manhattan)
TYPE: Contract (Possibility of temp. to hire/full-time conversion)
WORK HOURS:  Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM EST. 40 hour work week, one hour lunch.
 
NOTE:
  • Manager may consider a recent college graduate with minor experience but strong interest in the Banking industry.
  • Looking for someone who is meticulous with details, likes working with numbers, and is driven to succeed.
  • Some possibility to convert to full time.
 
Overall Purpose of Job:
  • Provide Operations support (90%) and some Admin (10%) Support to Portfolio Managers and other staff for all portfolio management related matters.
 
TASKS TO BE PERFORMED:
  • Maintenance of databases, purification of data, maintenance of data feeds, and related assignments. Maintain Pipeline Reports of deal flow. 
  • Monitor financial covenant requirements including receipt and review of all credit agreements and other documents for financial covenant reporting requirements, maintain tickler systems, prepare reports on past due items and other ad hoc reports as requested 
  • Perform portfolio management controls for USWB customers, as assigned. This function includes retrieving credit application and approvals from in-house systems, review and record into internal database (e.g. Tickler System, Pipeline Reports, etc.), complete and submit capital market lines instructions to Middle Office. 
  • Provide general administrative support including, but not limited to, travel arrangements and expense reimbursement. 
  • Verification of information in Timekeeping System for Portfolio Managers 
  • Legal Documentation Management: As part of Department control procedures, the incumbent is responsible for prompt follow up and resolution of past due executed legal documents. The procedure requires the accurate receipt, control, and coordination of these documents. 
  • Electronic Credit Files maintenance: Promptly and accurately upload all relevant transaction and customer documents in the e-credit files.
