CLEARANCE: Secret (current required)

 
 
We are seeking a Logistics Engineer to provide acquisition support for the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Hanscom AFB. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct acquisition logistics management support to include performing life cycle supportability analyses; developing/reviewing Integrated Logistics Support Plans, Computer Resources Life Cycle Management Plans, and solicitation documentation; and establishing maintenance/support concepts. 
  • Assist with the procurement and management processes of support equipment, test equipment, technical orders, spares, training, supply support, and other resources. 
  • Provide functional support in the areas of reliability and maintainability, Instructional System Design (ISD), and acquisition/training documentation development.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 15+ years experience in logistics and acquisitions including at least 5 years experience supporting DoD. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 
  • Experience with Federal and DOD regulations as they pertain to acquisitions and logistics. 
  • Knowledge of the acquisition life cycle and product support planning during each phase. 
  • Possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative project team. 
  • Proficient Microsoft office skills; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project. 
  • Extensive experience with defense acquisition management processes in accordance with the DoD 5000. 
  • Familiarity with the Product Support Business Case Analysis (PS-BCA) and Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) processes. 
  • Familiarity with accomplishing a Logistics Health Assessment (LHA) Knowledge of the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook. 
  • Able to lead a project team in completing complex projects. 
  • Knowledge of agency program planning, funding, and management information systems. 
  • Broad knowledge of the organization and functions of activities involved in providing logistical support. 
  • Able to coordinate and evaluate the efforts of functional specialists to identify specific requirements and to develop and adjust plans and schedules for the actions needed to meet each requirement on time. 
  • Able to integrate the separate functions in planning or implementing a logistics management program. 
  • Capable of producing and maintaining well-written documentation to meet management and contract requirements. 
  • Familiar with the full life cycle of the procurement process.  
  • Must be organized and detail oriented. 
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization and demonstrate strong customer service skills.
