TYPE: FULL TIME SALARIED POSITION WITH BENEFITS
 
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Active US DoD Top Secret/SCI
 
TARGET COMPENSATION: $90,000 - $110,000 + Benefits
 
 
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
  • Responsible for determining scenario training requirements and designing vignettes to support cyber operations training for all DMOC-hosted exercises. 
  • Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Cyberspace Operations to include the Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO) and Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO). 
  • Serves as the SME for major theater level Distributed Mission Operations in a Live, Virtual and Constructive synthetic environment. 
  • The successful candidate will be the lead in OCO/DCO scenario development, technical solutions sets and integration across other mission threads. 
  • Provides liaison functions between Cyber Mission Teams and Cyber Protection Teams and the 705 CTS Exercise Directors for appropriate hosting within the battlespace and throughout the exercise development and execution process.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities of the selected candidate will include support of several activities within the DMOC to include:
  • Developing Cyber/Non-Kinetic effects and coordinating with DCO and OCO participants.
  • Function as the Cyber/NK liaison with operational units across the joint community.
  • Design scenarios that allow NK and kinetic effects to work in a total exercise solution.
  • Understand the integration of Tactics, Technics and Procedures across multiple disciplines within the DoD weapons systems.
Skilled in:
  • Modeling and Simulation (M&S)
  • Distributed Mission Operations (DMO)
  • Training, Test and Evaluation (T&E), and/or experimentation event support
 
HIGHLY DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • An operational tour within the Cyber community – military assignment as DCO and/or OCO.
  • DMO experience working with Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) assets
  • Systems engineering background - preferably in military environment
  • Computer generated forces or environment generators (e.g. Next Generation Threat System (NGTS)) experience
  • Familiar with C4I systems (GCCS, JDOCS, ADSI/JRE, etc.)
  • Familiar with programming languages (PERL, PYTHON, JAVA, etc.)
  • Network integration - DMON, ARCNet, NCTE, etc.
  • Technical writing and test reporting
 
QUALIFICATIONS:           
  • MS (Applied Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, or related discipline) with 3 years relevant experience;
- or -
  • BS in same fields with 5 years relevant experience;
- or -
  • no degree with 10 years relevant experience.
