Intermedia Group has an opening for the following Consultant:

TITLE: Oracle Financials Functional Specialist (AP and FA)
LOCATION: Jersey City. NJ
TYPE: Contract
DURATION: 15 months

WE CAN ONLY EMPLOY CANDIDATES ON A W2 (either hourly or salaried)

  • This position will be the SME to setup and configure the New Oracle Accounts Payables and Fixed Assets on the Oracle E-Business Application suite version R12.2.5 instance.
  • The resource is expected to collaborate with the Business Accounting stakeholders and Technology team leads to configure the Oracle AP & FA with the associated Payables Options with Calendars, Suppliers, Sites and Bank Accounts, Asset Books, Controls and Categories with Financial options including Asset conversions from the Legacy domain.
  • This new domain configuration will follow the same standards as for an existing and live Oracle EBS domain with Invoice, Payment processing and integration with the Assets, sub-ledger accounting created in the General Ledger.
  • Responsibilities include gather, document the requirements, provide and present the feasible, optimal solutions leveraging the standard functionality of the Oracle AP, FA and the Technical team skills. 
  • The consultant will have a deep understanding of the E2E process flows on the Oracle Accounts Payables and Fixed Assets including daily and month end, Year Accounting close functions, proficient with configuring Asset load ADI templates, maintain features like User / Menus,
    Responsibilities, Request, Report sets, Concurrent Programs, Security profiles, flex-fields and Chart of accounts
  • The consultant is expected to have the overview and working knowledge of the process flows on the Oracle General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, Application Object Library, System Administrator modules, will work closely with the SMEs in these areas and will be the to go resource for Oracle AP, FA knowledge base. 
  • Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2.x or higher experience. 
  • Oracle Financials Full life cycle implementation and support experience. 
  • Experience in supporting the financial functions (FAH / GL / AP / FA / Admin). 
  • Financial Accounting Daily, Month end, Yearend close and Report concepts. 
  • Ability to translate business requirements to FDD and Aiding in the TDD, Supporting the Test cycles.
