TITLE: Business Analyst - Spend and Proposal Analysis - Sales Operations     
LOCATION: Downtown NYC
WORK: Hybrid
TARGET COMP: $75,000 + full benefits
REPORTING TO: VP Sales Operations & Offer Management               

Our customer is the technology and service leader that powers the financial markets globally. They meet the Communications (voice and data), Networking and Compliance needs of global financial institutions.

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Our customer, a leader in the networking and telecommunications space, is seeking a detail oriented, collaborative and motivated Business Analyst to join their Sales Operations Team.

  • In this role, you will enable and support our customer’s Sales and Leadership team with Spend and Proposal analysis for effective and efficient decision making and Regular reporting. 

 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze and communicate individual and combined data to support bid proposals through the deal desk.

  • Provides analytical support to team in identifying, documenting and development of new business process improvements.

  • Helps ensure seamless integration of business strategies with operational departments such as Sales, IT, and Support.

  • Define, publish and maintain dashboards and reports that support the sales organization.

  • Assist with the tracking, analyzing and reporting on key focus areas identified for Leadership. 

  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, Marketing and Customer Success.

  • General day to day support to Sales for adhoc queries in regard to client quotes.

  • Candidate must be able to work independently with guidance about overall goals and objectives.

  • Able to independently evaluate processes, identify areas of improvement, and incorporate in to overall work objectives.  


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Skilled in research, analysis, problem solving, metrics and reporting.

  • Advanced writing, editing/formatting, organization and time management skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft product suite (Excel, word, PowerPoint etc.)

  • Excellent people skills

  • Advanced Analytical skills with multi-tasking abilities.

  • Ability to identify automation opportunities and enhancements and drive related requirements definition.

  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 
EDUCATION:   

  • Degree in Business, Finance or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
