JOB TITLE: Program Manager – Acquisition programs - Cybersecurity
LOCATION: Hansom Air Force Base
  • Immediate opening for a Program Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) with knowledge of acquisition program cybersecurity requirements supporting the Cloud One program office located at Hanscom AFB, MA.
  • Cloud One is the AF evolution to standardized platforms and application support services providing secure cloud environments, engineered environments, and cyber security solutions.
  • Cloud One provides AF target environments and cloud migration services for 2,700+ AF mission applications.
  • Currently the portfolio has 50+ mission systems spread between the Cloud One Azure and Amazon environments. 
  • Along with the migration of mission systems there is the continual look at improving the processes, adding common services and automating as much as possible. 
  • Acquiring Authorization to Operate (ATO) is not the normal compliance process. ATO is based on risk assessments, with a focus on how to shorten the process while keeping security at a low – medium level.
  • Functions required to be performed by individuals include:
  • Develop acquisition strategies, evaluate acquisition progress, and provide Cloud One leadership with senior level program management expertise to achieve goals/milestones. 
  • Provide acquisition expertise to assist the program manager in assessing what is within schedule and cost baselines, be able to recommend viable solutions to problems and develop and execute alternative courses of action.
  • Plan, schedule and facilitate a variety of exchanges and meetings with the program team, stakeholders and industry to understand program requirements and emerging commercial technologies which may address warfighter capability gaps.
  • Provide support to current and potential Cloud One mission application owners (Cloud One customers) with any cybersecurity requirements related questions or issues.
  • Facilitate a weekly cyber town hall call-in meeting to promote collaboration between Cloud One and mission application owners. Conduct meetings with program managers and other Cloud One team leads to understand what new cybersecurity projects can be expected and collaborate with the Cloud One Trust team to successfully support these new efforts with on time and high quality results.
  • Works with mission application owners and the Cloud One technical team to provide information and resources they need to successfully migrate to, and continue to operate in, one or more of the Cloud One Program Office provided cloud service offering environments.
  • Captures and refines information security requirements and ensures they are effectively integrated into the cloud environment through purposeful security architecting, design, development and configuration.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force Certification and Accreditation policies, specifically Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 8510.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology, and AFI 33-210, The Risk Management Framework (RMF) for Air Force Information Technology.
  • Support the system/application authorization and accreditation (A&A) effort, to include assessing and guiding the quality and completeness of A&A activities, tasks, and resulting artifacts mandated by governing DoD and Air Force policies (i.e., Risk Management Framework (RMF).

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of Program Management experience working on programs/projects which incorporate cybersecurity processes and policy.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.2.
  • Risk Management Framework (RMF) knowledge & experience.
  • Familiar with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
  • Amazon and/or Microsoft cloud knowledge (specifically services offered).
  • Commercial cloud experience desired.
