**Candidate will be onsite in San Rafael on a weekly basis (Tuesday & Thursday)
**Candidate must be local to the area (relocation is a must for non local candidates)
**Candidate must have experience with Vendor Risk Management specific to Procurement/Sourcing
The Sr Manager, Supplier Enablement and Risk Management will lead a team of procurement professionals who are focused on all aspects of the supplier lifecycle management- including supplier onboarding, supplier master data, supplier enablement and risk management. This role is responsible for leading a team of procurement professionals in supporting the company in the following areas:
Ensure colleagues understand the internal process to request new suppliers
Support suppliers throughout the onboarding and maintenance processes
Streamline the exception process for onboarding patients and Health Care Professionals
Perform continuous improvement by updating and cleansing of supplier master data
Ensure necessary supplier data is being collected for both internal and external reporting requirements
Implement an adoption and engagement strategy for suppliers on the SAP Business Network
Identify strategic opportunities to streamline the Source to Pay process
Drive the development and execution of a global supplier risk management strategy
Champion the organization’s ESG and DEI initiatives through supplier management
This role will collaborate closely with category leaders from across the Global Sourcing & Procurement organization, colleagues across the company, as well as suppliers themselves as our team facilities the supplier lifecycle management process.

Leadership: provide leadership to the team, actively participate and contribute to the GSP vision and roadmap, have a strong understanding of all GSP capabilities and strategies, be a strong advocate for the GSP organization across the company.
Team Collaboration: align with GSP peers to develop and operational strategies; ensure alignment with overall GSP goals; closely partner with functional risk owners across the company
External perspective: maintain an active understanding of industry trends and functional practices through participation in industry organizations, bringing knowledge to the team and stakeholders.
Source to Pay mindset: demonstrate a deep and wide knowledge of the Source to Pay process, including supporting technology to optimize operations.
Ways of working: Be the subject matter expect on evolving procurement practices and standards that may be rapidly changing internally and externally.

Operational Focus
Supplier Onboarding and Enablement Strategies: improve upon existing and create new and improved strategies for onboarding suppliers globally, continuously updating of supplier master data, and enabling of suppliers onto the SAP Business Network to streamline our Source to Pay processes
Supplier Risk Management Strategies: develop a supplier risk management roadmap that supports the initial vetting and continuous monitoring of supplier risk, collaborate with risk owners across the company to streamline and compile risk elements into a centralized view for a 360 degree risk profile, develop a proactive approach in identification, analysis, documentation and communication of supplier risks to cross-functional stakeholders to ensure stable and efficient supplier governance strategies
Prioritize and Execute: help the team prioritize and implement operational and strategic strategies
Results Focused: drive to measurable outcomes by developing KPIs and metrics to track performance.
Source to Pay Transformation: provide strategy and operational input into transformation efforts, process and technology solutions; collaborate across the value stream to optimize outputs; create a multi-year road map of opportunities.
Skills Required
Demonstrated experience with supplier onboarding, risk management, sourcing and procurement, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
Specific knowledge and expertise in supplier onboarding, master data maintenance, supplier risk management
Strong people management and team leadership experience
Results-driven mindset and capabilities
Excellent communicator and interpersonal skills with comfort working cross-functionally to gather information and resolve conflicts
Motivated, high-energy, curious, self-starter and strong business mindset
Experience with procurement technology, ideally in SAP / Ariba
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
Area of Specialization: Sourcing & Procurement, Supplier Lifecycle Management, Supplier Risk Management. Experience in procurement and supply chain management in a global capacity, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector.
10+ years of experience in Procurement/ Sourcing/ Supply Chain
Expertise in Procurement tools such as SAP / Ariba SLP
Demonstrated expertise in defining the requirements needed and streamlined process to onboard and maintain suppliers, maximizing opportunities to enable a seamless source to pay process
Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing a supplier risk management program
Strong knowledge of Environmental, Social, and Governance and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion opportunities within the supplier lifecycle management process
Significant experience working in a matrix (global/ regional) business environment
Strong networking skills and a proven ability to build productive and collaborative relationships with stakeholders and business partners
Strong analytical, written and verbal communications, and influencing skills
Ability to work in high pressure environment, often under tight deadlines
