Job Purpose and Impact
- The Grain Origination Representative will, with guidance, conduct grain origination activities and support the sale of various grain marketing solutions, and promote our advisory services.
- In this role, you will conduct face to face and over the phone sales with new and existing customers, assist in evaluating customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions.
- This role will be supporting the Camrose, Alberta territory.
Key Accountabilities
- Help identify potential customers and handle existing customer relationships.
- With guidance conduct market research and pricing, sales and merchandising activities.
- Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends.
- Protect, grow and diversify the relationship with targeted customers.
- Support business growth by disseminating favorable information about the organization and its products and services.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
- Valid Canadian Driver's license in good standing
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Strong interest in agriculture
- Previous sales experience
- Experience using customer relationship management software
