Schedule is working 4-10's, during the week. No Holidays, No Weekends, No Call!

Ideal Candidate
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience. 
  • Bilingual English/Spanish and experience with Treatment Simulation is preferred but not required. 
  • Someone looking to live their BEST LIFE working 4 days per week and playing the other 3 days in the Colorado Mountains and going on adventures!

HOSPITAL: the leading cancer treatment facility in the Rockies

General Objectives:
  • As a member of the radiation oncology team, administers ionizing radiation for the purpose of treating diseases.
  • Demonstrates general understanding of anatomy and physiology pathology, medical terminology, oncology, radiobiology, radiation physics, radiation oncology techniques, radiation safety and the psychosocial aspects of cancer toward the end.

The hospital offers the following radiation treatments:
  • CT radiation therapy planning
  • True Beam Linear Accelerator
  • Electron Beam external radiation
  • Photon external radiation
  • HDR (high dose rate) brachytherapy
  • LDR (low dose rate) brachytherapy/seed implantation
  • Orthovoltage superficial (skin cancer) external radiation
  • Open source I131 (thyroid)
  • Xofigo (RA 223) prostate
  • Optune® cap for a type of brain cancer called glioblastoma multiforme (GBM)
  • Vision RT
  • SpaceOAR (prostate)
  • 4D CT planning (motion planning lung cancer)
  • Stereotactic radiosurgery
  • SBRT (stereotactic body radiosurgery)

REQUIREMENTS:
  • R.T. (T) certification
  • 2 years of experience in the area of Radiation Oncology is preferred. We are considering all levels of experience for this position.
  • Experience with Treatment Simulation is a strong plus!
Skills:
  • Working knowledge of radiation safety and current rules and regulations pertaining to radiation therapy
  • Ability to interpret and deliver treatments per plans and relevant treatment protocols
  • Experience with modern radiation therapy delivery systems, imaging systems and electronic medical records
  • Experience with the following techniques required: Breath Hold, SRS and SBRT, Superficial and HDR
  • Working knowledge of Mosaiq highly preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
