Reports to: Equipment Finance Commercial Segment Sales Manager
Position Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for developing business from new prospects and interacts with existing customers and commercial bankers to increase sales revenue for Bank Capital Services (BCSI) and the corporation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work with commercial bankers, commercial clients and prospects identifying equipment finance transactions. Promotes equipment finance capabilities within the bank customer and prospect base with a focus on new business origination. Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of equipment finance pricing and structuring documentation including the true lease product.
Services current commercial bank clients financing needs for capital equipment purchases. Meets with lessees on equipment acquisitions and closes leases and equipment finance.
Develops prospects and expands commercial client and end user volume in a designated geography. Attends Bank cross functional meetings to develop opportunities with Regional Managers' bank clients. Monitors competitive landscape and keep bank RM's informed of market conditions.
REQUIREMENTS:
BA or BS
5+ years of job-related experience
Experience with equipment leasing and finance
The candidate is driven and takes the initiative to originate sales, meet new people, build and maintain relationships. They possess strategic thinking and analytical skills towards persuasive communication, understanding client needs, market conditions, trends, competitors and potential business opportunities. This candidate must have previous experience at either a banking or financial services institution with lending or leasing capital equipment.

MS Excel - Intermediate Level
Experience in a sales and relationship position related to commercial banking or leasing
