Role Overview
The Dental Sell-Side Advisor is the primary engine for converting dental leads into high-value signed contracts.
You will navigate the complex landscape of private equity-backed Dental Service Organizations (DSOs) and act as a strategic advisor for multi-million dollar transitions.
This role requires a sophisticated blend of financial literacy, local market credibility, and the ability to build deep trust with practitioners as they transition their life’s work.
As part of a distributed global team, you will occasionally participate in meetings outside of standard local business hours to ensure synchronous collaboration with our partners worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Deal Management: Manage a high-volume pipeline and consistently deliver signed contracts within the dental vertical.
Valuation & Analysis: Perform dental-specific valuations using US metrics, EBITDA normalization, and clinical metric interpretation (e.g., active patient counts and case acceptance).
DSO Relationship Leadership: Establish and maintain "First-Look" status with major US Dental Service Organizations and private equity groups.
Deal Structuring: Navigate complex M&A components including "Holdbacks," "Earn-outs," and "Equity Rolls".
Data Integrity: Ensure 100% accuracy in P&L gathering and tax return analysis before presenting to senior executives.
Vertical Penetration: Secure deals across targeted sub-verticals, including General Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery

Skills & Experience
Over 5 years of experience and proven background in finance, investment banking, or equity sales. Particular background in dentistry and dental practice brokerage is a huge plus.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance or related field
Strong negotiation skills and proficiency in US dental M&A deal structures.
Deep understanding of the "Buy-Box" criteria for major US groups like Heartland, Aspen, or Pacific Dental.
Ability to analyze clinical metrics and dental-specific benchmarks (e.g., payroll % to revenue, lab fee ratios)
Proficiency in CRM management and digital tools to maintain pipeline discipline
