Scrum Master / Project Manager - Consultant

JOB TITLE: Scrum Master / Project Manager
REQUIREMENT # 2308
LOCATION: HYBRID - REMOTE AND SOME ON SITE req'd– NYC (downtown Manhattan)
DURATION: 12+ months
RATE: $90-$100 per hour
NOTE: This is a 37.5 hour work week

** we can work EITHER w2 or C2C – candidates choice
**candidates MUST currently be local to the NYC area
 
  • This position will manage and execute all aspects of technology projects.
  • This position will be responsible for working with Enterprise Product Management Scrum teams to deliver key products/components for our customers, following agile principles. The Scrum Master plans and conducts agile ceremonies to support the successful delivery of system changes prioritized by the customer.
  • The Scrum Master will be a key member providing project management expertise and manage the delivery of part of a large project or a small to medium project, acting independently to deliver project to schedule, budget and scope.
  • You will maintain project plans, monitor costs, manages project risks and creates clear and attainable milestones, adjusting the project plan as required to successfully deliver project objectives.
  • You will ensure the project follows established client and specific processes including Statement of Work (SoW), Installation Guides, Staging Guides, etc.
  • You will support team on project deliverables and ensure project deliverables are signed off by Program Manager and/or Director

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 10 years overall experience
  • Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Science, or equivalent work experience. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience should include working as a Scrum Master, product owner or project manager in an application development environment, with at least 3 years’ experience using Agile Scrum.
  • A sound understanding of technical issues and outstanding planning (experience in preparation of project plans a must), scheduling, implementation, and evaluation skills.
  • Excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing with the user community and the technical staff is essential.
