IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Must have high speed industrial manufacturing environment. 
  • Per Hiring manager candidates from these companies would be a good fit: Amazon , J&J , Elil Illy, Toyota,  or other large manufacturing knowledge
 
SUMMARY:
  • Performs all maintenance activities in compliance with regulatory requirements and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
  • Performs preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on facility equipment, machinery, and building systems.
     
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Performs electrical troubleshooting of facility equipment as necessary
  • Performs mechanical troubleshooting of facility equipment as necessary
  • Performs preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems as scheduled or as needed
  • Performs corrective maintenance on facility equipment and systems as required
  • Communicates effectively to ensure accurate communication and completion of work assignments
  • Works safely to avoid injuries, accidents, and contamination of products
  • Maintains proper documentation for work performed
  • Conducts equipment inspections to identify any adverse trends or potential safety hazards
  • Reports issues to supervisor and/or other appropriate personnel
  • Adheres to cGMPs and established FDA regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, preventative maintenance procedures, blueprint and schematic reading, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics, Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programs, National Electrical Code (NEC), work order management
  • Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Basic knowledge of electrical theory and operation
  • Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems
  • Familiarity with hand tools and basic powered tools
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work overtime as required (both during the week and on weekends)
