JOB TITLE: Business Analyst – Middle Office with MDM (Master Data Management)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – CONTRACT – this is a LONG TERM (2 ½ year contract)
DURATION:  2.5 years
·         The project is to redesign a large and complicated middle office application.
·         This is a Business Analyst role that will be the right hand “eyes and ears” of the manager
·         This person needs to smart, articulate, confident and have excellent communication skills. 
·         The musts for this position is experience with MDM (Master Data Management) and middle office functional knowledge 
          (Risk, Compliance, Treasury, Financial Controls and/or Corporate Strategy)
·         The person needs to understand technology to a certain degree, for instance they should understand the principals of data    modeling and have to be able to join tables in MS Access.   
·         Person will need to do heavy documentation.

Job Description:

Assigned to – Middle Office – Data Assurance Department
·         CDL (Central Directory Layer) is the application for customer on-boarding, and creates and maintains a Customer Information File (CIF) that provides our booking systems and reporting systems with reliable reference and x-reference data. The project mandate is to streamline the onboarding process with appropriate work flow and controls and improve data quality and accuracy for customer and reference data throughout the enterprise.  It is a multi-phase, multi-year project which spans all Americas geographically. The project is expected to start January, 2012 and ending in mid to late 2014
·         The Consultant position will support business analysis, end user coordination, testing, documentation and training for the CDL Redesign project. The resource will primarily manage Middle Office deliverables and ensure the implementation meets its process streamlining and data quality objectives. The resource tasks and deliverables will include:
·         Detailed Business process flow diagrams for various business lines
·         Document detailed procedures and coordinate with different user groups to ensure understanding and buy in
·         Support analysis and design related activities specific to Data Model
·         Manage WBS for Middle Office related tasks and create presentations for executive management
·         Track issues and facilitate resolution
·         UAT planning and execution related activities.
·         Create Training plan and conduct training session to user groups across the Americas
·         Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
·         Experience with Documenting use cases, process and data flow diagrams
·         Solid understanding of banking products and operations
·         Strong technical competence in data analysis and database tools
·         Familiarity with key regulatory requirements (KYC, SOX, Basel II, etc.)
·         Experience SDLC methodology
·         Detail oriented
·         Experience with implementation of large technology projects
·         Experience with Master Data Management and KYC/AML processes is a plus
