THE KEY TO THIS POSITION IS 'Risk Management' experience. Ideally 5-8 years as a Program Manager. Customer will consider Risk management from anywhere (any military, federal or even commercial)
Program Manager II to support the Unified Platform (UP) Joint Program (ACAT I). The primary purpose of the UP is to integrate disparate cyber platforms, existing or evolving systems, infrastructure, mission capabilities, data analytics, and programs to build an interoperable and scalable network of cyber capabilities.
The UP will allow the Cyber Mission Force (CMF) to be interoperable and interconnected, and to conduct integrated DoD cyberspace domain-planning and execution of the full spectrum of cyberspace operations. The Unified Platform will provide cyber capabilities for the Services and agencies. The UP Program will incorporate an agile environment.
Understanding and execution of the Air Force Risk Management policies and processes. The candidate will need to establish a risk management process for the UP branch. The candidate’s primary responsibility will be to identify, validate, track and brief the program risks to program management on a continuous basis.
Conduct Integrated Risk Assessments (IRAs) to quantify and analyze risk impact on program schedule(s) and cost in support of the annual program office estimate.
Possess the knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs.
Possess the knowledge of support activities that assist the Organization in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines, be able to recommend viable solutions to problems, and the pursuit of alternative courses of action.
Effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.).
Plan, research, analyze, and assess risk management in terms of development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment as well as formulate plans and recommend effective risk mitigation plans to meet cost, schedule and performance objectives.
Support and develop risk management status briefs and reports. Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews.
