TITLE: Action Officer - Intermediate Level
LOCATION: Chantilly, VA
CLEARANCE: Top Secret / SCI with CI Poly
TARGET COMP: $110,000 - $130,000
SUMMARY:
Action Officers (AO) will direct and oversee the receipt, tasking, tracking, and closure of all AS&T internal and external tasks as identified herein.
The AOs provide the Advanced Systems & Technology (AS&T) Senior Leadership's responses to various technical and managerial inquires and actions to internal and external NRO and AS&T stakeholders.
As a result, the AOs scope includes delivering coordinated, quality, accurate, and timely responses numerous actions daily for AS&T.
Track, maintain, and manage a Government provided database Tracking Information and Enterprise Response (TIER) of AS&T actions items. Research, create, and draft responses.
Assign, coordinate, consolidate and evaluate responses to prepare a polished, timely, and accurate products.
Maintain historic files of previous responses to inform the updating or crafting of responses to future related TIER actions.
Maintain TIER distribution groups to ensure TIER user groups are up to date and actions are completed in a timely manner
TASKS
Provide senior executive level staff support to the Director, Deputy Directors, Chief of Staff, and the AS&T Leadership Team for assigned actions.
Review Intelligence Community (IC) policy documents, and provide highlights of pertinent sections to Director, AS&T, and other members of AS&T enterprise as appropriate.
Prepare Directors Action Group (DAG) response shells for actions assigned to external groups.
Report on action item status at the appropriate meetings.
Schedule, coordinate, provide logistical support for, and help prepare presentations/briefings for senior staff meetings and reviews, as directed.
Draft and edit executive correspondence.
Synthesize information received from AS&T entities into a directorate level response to create communications and business documentation. Provide technical review and/or prepare all AS&T correspondence packages (both internal and external) ensuring adherence to NRO administrative standards, technical accuracy, completeness, consistency, proper classification, and relevance of responses.
Prepare, maintain, and present AS&T communications and business documentation including: AS&T overview briefings, Year-in-Review, Weekly Activity Reports, biweekly Insight publications, all-hands and off-site agendas and briefings; AS&T input to the NRO town hall meetings, congressional testimony, and similar activities.
Create and maintain AS&T SharePoint site content for currency, accuracy, and relevance.
Maintain annual AS&T governance policy and implement the AS&T governance processes. Support the annual preparation of AS&T' s statement of assurance. Support AS&T responsibilities related to NRO strategic decision framework and continuity of operations.
Skillset:
5 yrs of Domain experience with
2 yrs Experience with the NRO or 4 yrs Experience with the IC or DoD
Bachelor's Degree in Technical or Business Related discipline
