Looking for a Software Developer to join a team of experts to assist with building state of the art data platforms for the Department of Defense.
Responsibilities:
- Work includes development and maintenance of expanded features and support tools for the suite of Governance tools.
- Development is in Python implementing Gitlab for CI/CD interacting with both databicks Delta tables and various rest API endpoints.
- Potential applicants should be proficient at writing highly performant and robust scripts and packages, including adequate unit tests.
Required Skills:
- Clearance: Secret
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ yrs software development/engineering experience, including building unit tests and full deployment support
- 4+ yrs Python or similar OOP language
- Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and overcome technical hurdles, but willing to escalate questions and concerns before they become major blockers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines and implementations
- Databricks experience
- Data engineering experience
