JOB DESCRIPTION
- Our customer is seeking an experienced equities salesperson to join their team and take responsibility for driving sales and revenue growth by (1) soliciting new customers by promoting and selling their routing services; and (2) supporting their current customers’ trading activities.
- This position reports to the Head of Sales and is based out of the firm;s office in Jersey City.
- Attendance in the office is expected a minimum of 3 days per week.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the Head of Sales and everyone on the sales team to execute the group’s strategic objectives.
- Prospect, identify, and develop new client relationships.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets.
- Support the technology and business needs of our current clientele.
- Manage customer compliance with regulatory requirements; communicate effectively with the chief compliance officer and compliance staff to ensure that all transactions are carried out in accordance with relevant rules and regulations.
- Able to perform reviews of client activity and produce reports, as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS of experience in U.S. EQUITIES SALES. Resume must clearly detail Equities experience.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent sales, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using financial software, trading platforms, and CRM systems.
- Solid understanding of regulatory compliance as it relates to our customers’ needs.
- B.A. in finance, business, or economics (or relevant equivalent experience)
- Series 7 and 63 licenses required.
- Series 24 license is not required, but desirable.
