OPEN JOB: REMOTE - Manager Accounting, Statutory Reporting

Salary: $106,412 to $171,308

Description
Our client, a large Health Insurer is seeking a Manager Accounting, Statutory Reporting who will:

• Be responsible for all Statutory financial reporting
• Establish and maintain policies and procedures in order to ensure effective, accurate and timely reporting, following applicable accounting standards (GAAP, Regulatory) as well as ensuring strong internal controls are achieved and maintained.
• Work closely with internal and external business partners
• Manage and develop accounting staff

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Lead or supervisory/management experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Healthcare insurance experience
• CPA
• Statutory Reporting experience
• Process Improvement experience
