TITLE: Account Executive - VoIP and Hosted VoIp / Cloud and SAAS based Communications

TYPE: Hybrid - 2-3 days in the Toronto office
OFFICE LOCATION: Toronto, Canada

CUSTOMER: is a fintech company that develops cutting edge cloud-based trading communications and managed connectivity (VOIP, Cloud based PBX, Trading Floor Turrets)

TARGET BASE COMP: $85,000 - $99,000 USD ($117,000 - $136,000 Canadian Dollars) 
TARGET OTE: $120,000 - $150,000 USD ($165,000 - $207,000 Canadian Dollars)

Strategic Value:
Increase the firms valuation within large Canadian Banks and regional accounts by:
  • Exceeding projected revenue goals as the lead for the Canada region
  • Expanding product solutions to improve wallet share
  • Leading the transition of external and internal communications solution selling to our cloud based, SaaS model via Connexus Unigy to regulated users in the global financial markets in Canada
The Role:
  • Candidates must be self-motivated and have proven experience in a direct sales role with a verifiable track record of being able to identify, qualify and generate new business in a professional way
  • They must also demonstrate a history of organized, successful account/revenue development and achieved through cross-regional coordination
  • Responsibilities locally / regionally are inextricably paired with strategic account expectations globally, and regional accounts resulting in a dual reporting structure - 1. Director NA Region and 2. VP Strategic Accounts
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Sell suite of cloud-based trading communications and managed connectivity products and services into the existing customer base
  • Responsible for cold calling customers/prospects, appointment setting and opportunity tracking
  • Serve as go-to coordinator on named accounts across the entire Canada region
  • Analyze and manage pipeline activity and monitor sales activity
  • Build pipeline opportunities
  • Create and maintain accurate account plans and reviews with management
  • Drive and differentiate the customer experience, providing innovative guidance and partnerships with global SAM team, regional team and Senior Leadership to: Maintain contact with the customer, resolve problems, and seek additional opportunities
  • Manage and retain existing revenue
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales and business targets
  • Develop strategic business relationships within customer accounts
  • Generate new revenue through closing sales to existing and/or new business customers
  • Provide management reporting as required
  • Opportunistically develop new accounts/markets
  • Provide feedback and ideas on training topics and presentations
  • Provide, acquire, and integrate industry knowledge related to general trends, emerging technologies, and competitors
  • Develop and manage sales funnel and be familiar with Salesforce.com
  • Establish new business contacts through a variety of networking as a point of lead generation
  • Attend local networking events to assist in new sales lead generation
