Our client a large acute care and teaching hospital in Las Vegas is seeking a Manager or Risk Management for immediate hire. The hospital offers generous relocation packages for non-local candidates.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Manager of Risk Management is a key member of the leadership team and will be responsible for assisting the Director of Risk Management in leading our hospital’s Patient Safety-Risk Management Program.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University in related field required
One (1) to three (3) years Risk Management experience
Knowledgeable regarding Joint Commission Standards and CMS/DHS Regulations.
Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM), preferred
Thorough knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.
Must possess a detailed, in-depth knowledge of the principles of regulations, and standards to meet hospital, licensing, and accreditation.
Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public.
