Job Description
- Intermedia Group has an immediate opening for Senior Systems Engineer supporting The Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (AFLCMC/HNC) located at Lackland AFB, TX.
- Specifically, this position supports the Cyber Mission Platform (CMP) program office. CMP is the common framework for future Air Force cyber operations and will complement existing Air Force cyber weapon systems.
- CMP will provide a common user interface and the services necessary to facilitate the planning, generating, execution, assessing, commanding, and controlling of Air Force cyberspace operations. The CMP Program incorporates an agile environment.
The individual shall be able to:
- Conduct reviews on program portfolio to evaluate and/or recommend alternative plans, improve systems engineering programs/processes, manage/sustain program technical baseline, and design/perform system level tests to assure that subsystems and system performance is achieved in accordance with approved specifications.
- Perform program reviews to evaluate alternative proposed plans, systems engineering programs, design, and test results to assure that subsystem and system performance is achieved in accordance with program specifications.
- Identify Risk Management Framework (RMF) project artifacts and documentation required to facilitate the achievement of an Authority to Operate (ATO).
- Perform validation of systems, including development of criteria and procedures to support fielding and operational sustainment.
- Provide system/program engineering, technical support and technical training to support programs/initiatives, including but not limited to: acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, continued evolution, deployment/fielding and installation, and operations oversight/support.
- Provide engineering support services and inputs to program and project risk management activities in compliance with Air Force SEAM and Air force Agile Acquisition processes.
Job Requirements
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance
- CompTIA -- Security +
- Be familiar with Nutanix and VMWare virtualization technologies; have an in-depth understanding of hyper-converged infrastructure and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Be familiar with Cisco networking hardware technologies and be able to design and implement computer networks to include configuration and hardening of Cisco network hardware.
- Knowledge and application of agile development methodologies.
- Experience fielding software solutions at operational locations.
