HYBRID: 4 days in office and 1 day working remote SALARY: $106,000 to $157,000 FULL-TIME FULL BENEFITS
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS Knowledge of hospital information systems)
High degree of analytical ability
Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications, such as Windows, Microsoft office, etc
Demonstrated knowledge of Health Information Management functions, policies and practices in an electronic environment.
Coding Manager - Health Information Management (HIM)
Join a tight-knit HIM team and manage the activities and operations of assigned areas of responsibility. Manage assigned areas to promote effective and efficient operations.
Establish policies and procedures and ensure practices are consistent with regulatory agencies.
Review, recommend and implement changes to departmental program and projects.
Participate on hospital teams and committees related to HIM and clinical information systems as required.
Preferred Criteria
Bachelor’s degree
Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) through the American Health Information Management Association or equivalent
Required Criteria
High School Diploma or GED
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS Knowledge of hospital information systems)
High degree of analytical ability
Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications, such as Windows, Microsoft office, etc
Demonstrated knowledge of Health Information Management functions, policies and practices in an electronic environment for in patient coding only.
