OPEN JOB: Full Time Pharmacist / Pharmacy Manager (RETAIL) LOCATION: Reading, Pennsylvania
SALARY: $140,000 - $145,000 BONUS ELIGIBLE - Yes
This position is for a Full Time (second) pharmacist for the retail pharmacy
The hours are Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm.
As the pharmacist, you will be responsible in managing our pharmacy relationship with our health center client. This includes engaging with clinic providers and their clinical staff, providing drug related education, and acting as a member of the patient care team.
Primary Role: Our patients' health, compliance, and satisfaction are the most important factors to us. As the pharmacist, you are responsible for demonstrating the highest standard of patient quality care - from advising on prescriptions to helping treat chronic and specialty conditions.
In addition, you are responsible for facilitating a team culture that promotes caring, enthusiasm, and pride by leading, and directing your pharmacy staff to achieve specific goals.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide support and education to patients on their medications.
Management of staff pharmacist and technicians, if applicable. Address knowledge gaps by increasing knowledge through education and training.
Pharmacy operational management and oversight. This includes:

Inventory Management
Financial Profitability
Loss Prevention
Workflow Management
Keep abreast and stay current with HIPAA and Fraud Waste and Abuse credentialing.
Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures.
Ensure that the Pharmacy and its employees are compliant with Federal, State and Local laws regulated.
Ensure that the Pharmacy and its employees are aware and compliant with local facilities policies.
Requirements
Education - Doctorate Degree
Current License to practice (PharmD) in Pennsylvania
Excellent oral, written skills
Experience within Retail Pharmacy Setting as a Pharmacy Manager
Familiar with leading staff
Familiar with implementing strategies to increase scripts and customers
Must be able to utilize Patient Management System in the Pharmacy
3 years related pharmacy experience preferred
