TITLE: Enterprise Sales Specialist

SUMMARY:
This is an opportunity to play a critical role in building our customer’s business in the high-performance computing space. You will conduct strategic market research to generate qualified leads, understand their business and technology needs, and design and execute successful campaigns to pursue them. Become an expert in the firm's products and service offerings, communicating a deep understanding of the value proposition to potential clients.

Our customer is a privately held technology and solutions company headquartered in New York City that’s earned the trust and respect of commercial and government customers, and top-tier researchers around the globe. Their team of experts conduct thought-leading research, develop novel technologies, and create highly useful advanced computing and communications products that serve the security and communications needs of their customers.
The firm sells Services, Services + Product, and (in one line of business) Product alone.
This goal for this role is a combined Lead Generation and Inside Sales, with an emphasis on Inside Sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients, becoming a trusted internal resource in driving business development through superior relationship management
Research accounts, identify stakeholders, generate interest and develop accounts
Consistently achieve qualified opportunity and sales goals
Maintain existing client relationships
Collaborate across groups to develop exceptional marketing collateral
Meticulously maintain lead and prospect interactions in Salesforce
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven success in business development or sales at a tech company selling Business-to-Business (B2B) products or services
Exceptional written and oral communication skills with demonstrated strength in critical listening
Confident and compelling presentation style
Demonstrated expertise prospecting, cross-selling, and developing relationships with crucial decision-makers, including senior executives
NOTABLE:
Typical sale size is $50,000 to $500,000, with the sweet spot being several hundred thousand dollars per engagement. In general, one would categorize the sales as high value, low volume.
Sales Cycles are 3 - 9 months.
The customer has a considerable amount of repeat business, which is driving the need for a person who is adept at generating and maintaining trusted client relationships. Would like a person who is adept at (digital) lead generation to bring in new opportunities
