Our client is a leading provider of Financial Trading Unified Communications Solutions to the world’s largest financial services firms and global enterprises.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Sr Product Manager you will be responsible for lifecycle management of new and existing products and services within the Trading Communications Solutions (TCS) division, focused on Hosted services offerings.
Primary focus is on UCaaS including knowledge of VoIP / SIP technology but also requires layer 2 (Ethernet), IP/MPLS and security services.
You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and developers directly to gather requirements, define product strategy, execute, launch and drive adoption of your products.
Support sales, sales engineering and operations teams in the selling and day 2 support processes for our hosted services customers. This includes driving increased market adoption of our hosted services offerings. Introducing and supporting new services for primary traders or supporting back office users will be critical to success in this position. Driving product positioning, pricing and new service offerings successfully into the market will be your primary focus.
Develop thorough technology-driven strategies, business cases and product plans for new Cloud Trading Systems including Trader Voice, Compliance Solutions, Unified Communications and security services that will further enhance the company position as a premier specialized financial industry specific technology solutions provider
Direct interaction with customer base and industry analysts for requirements gathering and market trend awareness as well as evangelization of IPC’s solutions.
Identify product features and functionality related to customer requirements and fully document requirements including customer experience.
Research and respond to industry trends within financial services, specifically communications requirements associated with financial trading floors and market data communications for trading applications
Conceive Proof-of-Concept tests for technology-driven strategies including supervision of internal and external resources as well as direct involvement where applicable.
Manage all lifecycle strategies
Develop and launch new products and services that will position the company as a premier technology solutions provider in the financial industry.
Drive initiatives to bolster the value proposition of day 2 services including support of the existing product portfolio
Define market requirements for feature, functionality and customer experience including market validation
Engage with cross-functional teams to develop, test and launch new features and products
Drive through cross functional teams the transition from traditional CAPEX based business processes to a recurring service oriented model
Manage the product portfolio as a P&L owner
Manage lifecycle strategies associated with your product portfolio
Identify and measure key performance metrics and drive the vision set forth by the VP of product management
Develop and implement go-to market strategies that will ensure forecasted product revenues and margins are achieved
Develop sales and marketing collateral in conjunction with the marketing team to enable sales
Research and respond to industry trends, competitive offerings and potential disruptors within financial services, specifically communications requirements associated with financial trading floors

You have extensive experience in partner/vendor management and have demonstrated an ability to manage those relationships.
Ability to create business cases for products and product categories

Demonstrated ability to drive the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch evaluation (through Introduction stage)

You should have a strong understanding of Cloud-based services including a deep understanding of Unified Communications as an enabling technology as well as the ability to conceive and evangelize technology driven solutions across multiple organizations.
Track record with marketing, product management, or engineering of Cloud services
Experience in marketing, product management or product development/architecture departments
In-depth knowledge of specific financial services vertical telecommunications requirements
Understanding of regulatory issues related to financial services a plus
2-3 yrs cloud based exp.
Bachelors degree in Engineering, IT/Computer Sciences or Business, MBA a plus
