JOB TITLE: PRICING MANAGER / PROPOSAL PRICING LEAD LOCATION: Lexington Massachusetts TYPE: Hybrid - 3 days remote and 2 days in office - days are flexible.
COMP: $130,000 - $140,000
SECURITY CLEARANCE: This job does not require a security clearance, however individual must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, if necessary.
JOB FUNCTION:
The Pricing Manager will be a key member within the Finance organization as well the company.
The Pricing Manager will primarily lead the preparation of cost/price proposals in accordance with Government Request for Proposals, and secondarily will support project financial management in the organization.
The Pricing Manager will work closely with all divisions within the organization to include the Execution, Operation, and Technical teams.
Responsibilities:
Pricing Lead
Pricing Lead for competitive government proposals.
Develop pricing schedules, cost volume narratives, cost/pricing models, and support cost/price strategies in response to cost/price specifications of a Government Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and or Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROMs) and internal requirements.
Research, analyze and track historical data and trends for pricing competitive analysis.
Support proposal capture activities and business development efforts through analysis of RFPs, estimating and pricing, and proposal generation.
Evaluate cost/price reasonableness and realism using estimating approaches and pricing methodologies.
Understand indirect rate buildup and perform analysis on indirect rate impact in proposal.
Participate in strategic business decisions regarding price proposals
Coordinate quality proposal outputs, pricing process, multiple deliverables and deadlines with teaming partners, subcontractors, primes and other internal departments.
Financial Management Support
Create or maintain complex project financial models to analyze project financial data, monitor and report project performance, forecast EACs, calculate customer invoicing and update revenue forecast.
Support execution of various Cost-type, Fixed Price, and T&M contracts, program management reviews, and other project financial deliverables to both internal and external customers.
Support financial, government, and customer audits and reviews.
Perform ad hoc projects and tasks as required.
COMPETENCIES:
Advanced MS Excel skills with ability to build, integrate, maintain and understand complex, high data volume models is required.
Enjoys writing, as cost proposal volume narrative writing is a key requirement of this role.
Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
High standard of integrity, initiative, and resourcefulness.
Ability to effectively balance competing workload demands between changing requirements and priorities
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work in team environment (internally and with customers/partners).

Proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management is required.
YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 7 years of relevant government pricing experience with increasing levels of responsibilities.
Advanced/Expert financial modeling skills and analysis.
