TITLE: Investment Banking / Private Equity (Associate / Sr. Analyst) TYPE: Hybrid – 1-2 days per week in Jersey City.
Need someone in the tri-state. May need to head into the office 1-2x in Jersey City. Overall, it will be more remote than in person but still need someone in the area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our customer is seeking a self-motivated individual to help support our business development efforts.
An ideal candidate has a background in investment banking / private equity and is seeking to join a rapidly growing FinTech startup.
This role works directly within the firm’s Business Development and Capital Markets team which is primarily focused on securing institutional grade assets and partners for our new capital raise and private market trading (Alternative Trading System) platforms.
The Associate / Sr. Analyst will be responsible for working collaboratively with senior executives and the business development and capital markets team to help support the team’s strategy and overall firmwide goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for internal reporting, managing CRM systems, and keeping client data up to date.
Develop and update marketing, research, and other client facing materials;
Collaborate with senior team members on targeting, prospect outreach, and engagement strategies.
Identify partnership opportunities.
Assist senior team in responding to client inquiries and requests.
Assist in onboarding of potential issuers and other partners.
Maintain and develop relationship with issuers and investors for primary and secondary markets;
Act as a utility player for the organization - assist with board and other strategic materials and initiatives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1 1/2 to 5 years of experience
Candidate background must be in INVESTMENT BANKING / PRIVATE EQUITY
Bachelor's Degree
Have, OR be able to obtain, required licenses including SIE, Series 7 and 63
Knowledge of general investment banking, capital markets and corporate finance preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office - specifically Excel and Powerpoint.
Ability to perform detailed data analysis and have basic modeling skills.
Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative team player with emotional intelligence and the ability to earn credibility and build relationships across a diverse group of internal and external partners.
