JOB TITLE: Senior Strategic Risk Analyst (CFIUS) CLEARANCE: Top Secret / SCI CUSTOMER: USAF - AQXE (Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Acquisition Integration), LOCATION: Pentagon TARGET COMP: $150,000
**This position is currently telework eligible with on-site work 3-4 days per week. This position may require more days on-site or 100% onsite in the future.
The SeniorStrategic Risk Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing critical, time-sensitive material, ensuring the appropriate Air Force subject matter experts receive the information for review and comment, and formulating a well-articulated Department of the Air Force (DAF) recommendation. The focus of cases for review and analysis are CFIUS. TASKS INCLUDE:
Review inputs from sources (e.g., CFIUS cases materials, SME inputs) to analyze strategic risk vectors to the industrial base. Infuse latest adversarial risk into strategic risk assessments, incorporates insights from U.S. industrial base capabilities, and vets SME input regarding endangerment to industrial base segments.
Ensure the appropriate analysts receive strategic risk information, as required, to assist in their individual risk assessments.
Monitor and recommend adjudications to issues involving national security agreements, letters of agreement, and other mitigations resulting from “completed” CFIUS cases.
Maintain knowledge of U.S. industrial base capabilities and risks.
Analyze CFIUS transactions and materials, SME inputs, and other sources to assess potential strategic risk vectors and trends.
Collaborate with other industrial base analysts with DAF and other applicable Departments and agencies to identify strategic issues.
Adjudicate changes to mitigation and monitoring agreements (or other instruments used to oversee completed CFIUS cases), respond to actions/activities as defined by the agreements with recommendations for government action.
Summarize complex technical and financial material into decision or information papers for presentation to Air Force leadership.
Notify AQXE government personnel of any foreign acquisitions of U.S. companies that are of concern to the Air Force and have not been submitted to CFIUS for review.
Attend/participate in meetings, as required.
Any other tasks closely associated with the performance of duties list above and as coordinated with the COR.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
Master’s Degree in a business or technical related discipline.
At least 10 years of experience as an analyst, to include experience with cases on the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
Experience with processing and/or analyzing CFIUS cases.
Ability to synthesize information, meet deadlines, and produce results in a time constrained environment.
Strong skills in organization and attention to detail.
Strong oral and written communication skills at the senior level.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
Ability to work from high-level requirements through detailed specifications.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Must be able to maintain a positive, customer-service attitude under stressful conditions.
