Ideal Candidate
Ideal candidate will have worked as a Sourcing/Procurement Manager or Category Manager supporting Market Access.
SUMMARY:
The basic purpose of this role is to implement the sourcing strategy for Sales Services & Customer Value to unlock the power of data to transform innovations to life-changing medicines for patients.
It includes Market Access, Marketing Data, Secondary Data Analysis, and Real World Data.
The role will be responsible for US outsourcing services across Therapeutic areas for Human Pharma ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of Data driven drug development and market access.
We are looking for an innovative, dynamic individual with knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, evidence generation, AI and machine learning.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Implements Category Strategy following global Target Operating Model (TOM)
Optimizes buying channels and leverages market opportunities.
Brings potential innovation to BI and local market intelligence.
Leverages sourcing tools (including RFX, parallel negotiation etc. ...).
Identifies, evaluates and classifies sourcing risks and devises risk mitigation measures.
Maximizes usage of Master Services Agreements (MSAs) or Frame Services Agreements (FSAs) as possible.
Identifies and evaluates existing and potential local suppliers as well as the establishment and maintenance of supplier relations.
Provide feedback to Corporate Category Manager as needed.
Manages local Business Partners actively and collaborates to align common goals.
Coordinates Business Partner Demands within procurement and ensures that relevant information is shared, and Business Partner is supported adequately.
Potentially leads and drives regional procurement initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required in Business Administration, Pharmaceutics or related. Master's degree from an accredited institution preferred.
Major focus: Business Administration or Pharmaceuticals.
Four to seven (4-7) years of sourcing experience in category(ies) management.
