Our firm, Intermedia Group, Inc. has been retained by a major Financial Industry Client to aid in filling the below position:

 

Position Title: Derivatives Operations  User Acceptance Specialist

Division: Operations
Department: Customer Service Group

Type: Contract
Duration: 5 months- potential to convert to permanent
RATE RANGE: 25-27/hour
 
Department/Area Function:
Our client’s cross asset Global Trade Repository (GTR) is providing the industry with a central point of communication and storage for reporting Swaps Based Securities (SBS) for all Credit, Equity, Rates, Commodities and FX Derivatives
 
Key UAT/Onboarding Objectives:
·         Coordinate the scripted testing with individual firms and/or the Industry.
·         Execute detailed test scripts and test instructions to be used by the derivatives industry.
·         Conduct in-house testing on all functionality before deploying same functionality to the industry.
·         Coordinate the customer UAT and Production Onboarding from Membership documents through one access point
·         Ensure end to end customer and vendor connectivity is appropriate as needed and successfully completed
·         Ensure the appropriate access for GUI entitlements for all user types
·         Provide customer support for UAT inquiries
·         Responsible for the maintenance of the GTR static data setup.
 
 
Position Summary:
The Senior UAT Specialist provides a linkage between UAT, Product Management, Membership and technical activation aspects of client testing and onboarding, assists with creating processes and procedures to support new and current products.
In addition:
·         Assist in managing the implementation process for overall client testing, creating and maintaining project plans and schedules that outline key objectives, resources, milestones, and time frames for meeting project deliverables.
·         Maintains a portfolio of firms with complex accounts to activate per analysis of business requirements (new and existing clients; various products and services).
 

Principal Responsibilities:

Functional
·         Coordinate the scripted testing with individual firms and/or the Industry.
·         Produce and execute detailed test scripts and test instructions to be used by the derivatives industry.
·         Conduct in-house testing on all functionality before deploying same functionality to the industry.
·         Oversees the overall new client setup process for UAT and Production.
·         Coordinates with the various internal areas (AA, Legal, DTCC AML KYC, OCRC, and Compliance) to ensure that the account setups are done correctly and in a timely manner.
·         Ensures high customer satisfaction during the process.
·         Guides the customer through the process and keeps them informed on the status of their request.
·         Provides a thorough check of the membership paperwork for new accounts.
·         Coordinates go-live with customer.
·         Monitors and generates daily, weekly and monthly stats on firms in the pipeline, accounts on boarded and their cycle time.
·         Creates the O-code for the customer. Verifies that O-Code is unique and has not already been assigned.
·         Submits information into the web application (SDO) and verifies through dual entry to trigger the process
·         Submits instructions to RSG to setup Super Access Coordinators.
·         Processes requests from existing users for account additions/terminations, name changes, product additions
·         Processes vendor setups based on Vendor Management instructions and may assist with MQ connectivity.
·         Support ad-hoc testing being implemented by the clients in the testing environments.
Process Improvement
·         Develops and implements policies and procedures.
·         Shares best practices with team members inside and outside of GTR Operations.
·         Develops and implements metrics associated with customer support and onboarding.
 

Experience:

·         3 to 5 years of customer-related experience working in customer facing testing in the financial or professional services industry.

 

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team/matrix environment.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient PC skills, specifically with business-oriented applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
