NOTE: Client is currently using a legacy system called Tandem, and they will be moving to a platform by S1.  This effort has created the need to hire 10-15 people to implement and then maintain the new platform
 
Overall Purpose of Job: 
·         The purpose of this job is to provide expertise, management and direction to a team of resources handling business analysis functions (analysis, requirements definition, training) and development functions (analysis / troubleshooting, design, code, test, implementation) for production support and projects for applications and products associated with Cash Management System applications / products / integration functions and process (i.e. Remittance (all currencies), Wires, Compliance, Cash Management (Treasury and / or Trade Finance), Investigations, Reconciliation, Billing)
 
·         Manage and coordinate team schedules, allocations and deliverables for production maintenance and project implementations, i.e. Core Banking Replacement and Cash Management System Replacement, etc.   Manage and execute project assignments, own or staff (ie: Oversight, Project Manager, Lead, and / or Team member) to meet all requirements as per PLC and other policies. 
 
·         Responsible to manage team compliance and quality of organizational standards, policies and procedures 
 
·         Responsible for impact analysis, technical problem assessment, reporting and subsequent design and implementation of production incident solutions.
 
·         Responsible for coordinating and liaising with the various operating units affected by technology.   Works within or across Teams in establishing time schedules, priorities, and preliminary budgets for development of data processing solutions.
 
·         Support Cash Management System projects.  Provide expert business knowledge to the Project teams.  Perform initial review, assessment and analysis of SRD’s, detailed analysis on business requirements or system enhancement requests. Manage the creation of PLC deliverables (specifications and test plans, cases, and scripts, etc.) and approving same for continuance as per PLC and SOA policies.  Perform and manage testing and certification of software.   Evaluate and approve team deliverables and business readiness for project implementations
 
·         Responsible for production support and remediation, Helpdesk ticket assistance with analysis and research of production problems, user questions and system usage inquiries.  Liaise with end user during production incidents and problem resolutions.
 
·         Installs, maintains, and controls administrative routines and procedures required for operating management controls.  Develops preliminary project estimation as well as budgets and forecasts monthly and yearly expenses associated with the Team functions.  Variances are reviewed, discussed, and submitted to superiors.  Develops short and long term Team objectives. Is responsible for developing, assigning, and coordinating training plans for maintaining the Team’s ability to perform its functions
 
·         Advise, and mentor Team members in the specialized technical and business areas to insure adequate team support and coverage
 
·         Prepares performance reviews and corrective procedures for immediate subordinates and reviews with Team Manager.  Resolves problems within the Team, using all resources available, informing senior executives of activities and escalating problems, as per guidelines and procedures, for information, assistance and/or approval if required.
 
Experience/Abilities:
·         12+ years experience in the financial industry
·         Subject Matter Expert in Cash Management System Business Line products and services, Regulatory
·         Compliance requirements, accounting treatment and rules.
·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written.  Communicate effectively with business and technology.
