TITLE: PeopleSoft HCM Techno/Functional Consultant:
LOCATION:  New York, NY 10014
TYPE:  Contract (W2 or c2c)
DURATION:  12 months +


SUMMARY:
  • Work on upgrading an ERP System from PeopleSoft version 9.0 to 9.2. This work needs to be done primarily for reasons related to system technical supportability.  
  • Provide PeopleSoft functional and technical services by acting as Subject Matter Expert and leading the organization through the entire systems development life cycle for PeopleSoft Core HR, TAM/CG, Payroll, and eApplications, particularly in PeopleSoft 9.2.
     
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Provide PeopleSoft functional and technical services by acting as subject matter expert and leading organization through the entire systems development lifecycle for PeopleSoft Core HR, TAM/CG, Payroll, and eApplications.
  • Serve as a technical and functional expert in PeopleSoft 9.2 for all areas as mentioned above.
  • Work on all project phases, especially project initiation and initial steps for a 9.2 upgrade. This also includes fit/gap, configuration, development, and testing.
  • Assist in fully integrating the PeopleSoft Core HR, Payroll, TAM/CG, and eApplications system into its current business environments and provide input on best practices.
  • Advise on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems.
  • Configure the PeopleSoft Core HR, TAM/CG, Payroll, and eApplications system to meet the organization's unique business requirements.
  • Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Report progress to management and project managers.
  • Continually seek ways to improve the process of delivering PeopleSoft Core HR, Payroll, TAM/CG, and eApplications solutions.
  • Share knowledge to continually improve implementation methodology.
 
REQUIRED:
  • Minimum of 6 years of PeopleSoft Core HR, Payroll, TAM/CG, and eApplications experience.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 or higher.
  • Experience in the Higher Education Industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of version 9.2 upgrade and implementation experience.
  • Ability to work on all project phases of a project—particularly Project Initiation, and also including Fit/Gap Analysis, Setup, Development and Testing.
  • Solid understanding of PeopleSoft Core HR, Payroll, TAM/CG and eApplications setup tables and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of integration of all modules.
  • Proven business knowledge as well as PeopleSoft Core HR, TAM/CG and eApplications specific functional knowledge.
  • Experience working with a multi-institutional environment
  • Experience integrating with a diverse set of third-party systems.  
  • Knowledge of queries, process, and reports.   
  • Technical Knowledge of both payroll and HCM principles  
  • Experience working with all project phases (initiation, fit/gap, configuration, development, and testing), with an emphasis on project initiation.
