NOTE:
This role would require strong experience in Acquisition Program Management.  This job is DAG/FOG work developing acquisition documentation as a SME, working with the SML on taskers/briefings, and being the key focal point for the Division on all Acquisition Efforts (milestones, quarterly/monthly documentation/dashboards/etc.)



JOB DESCRIPTION:
Immediate opening for a Program Manager supporting the HNA Division Front Office Group in the C3I&N Directorate located at Hanscom AFB, MA. 
Specific duties include:
  • Have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.2, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force to provide strategic and tactical program planning (short-term, mid-term, and long-term plans) in furthering system mission capabilities.
  • Establish and implement Directorate and Division processes to ensure efficient review, coordination, and approval for all directorate/division tasks, briefings, acquisition documentation, acquisition reporting, and organizational management
  • Will be responsible for creating/providing analysis of acquisition documents, reports (MARs, PEO Activity, DAES, etc.) to ensure they are correct and consistent across programs with specific program data directed by leadership
  • Assist the program manager in assessing what is within schedule and cost baselines, be able to recommend viable solutions to problems, and pursue alternative courses of action.
  • Must be able to plan, research, analyze and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment and develop plans and recommend innovative and effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Plans, schedules and facilitates a variety of exchanges and meetings with the program office team, stakeholders, and industry to understand program requirements and emerging commercial technologies which may address warfighter capability gaps.
  • Formulate, recommend, and draft the proper acquisition strategy and associated statutory and regulatory acquisition documentations in a timely and effective manner.
  • Support all Acquisition Strategy reviews, develop supporting documentation, and support the Government in development and review of draft Request for Proposal (RFP) documents and RFP documents.
  • Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews and IMP/IMS reviews; support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.
  • Analyze program operations and provide/execute approved process improvement initiatives.   

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • SECRET Clearance required.
  • BA/BS with 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 5 must be in the DoD - OR - No degree with 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, of which 8 must be in the DoD
  • Possess the ability to work independently and apply the proper procedures and processes related to their assigned tasks.
  • Possess strong communication skills and utilize those skills to build relationships with supported customers.
  • Experience with SharePoint to include managing, uploading and editing program data and files.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
