Our client, a major international bank is seeking 4 JUNIOR business analysts (minimum 1 -  3 years experience).
EXPERIENCE with Financial client or BANKING experience is a plus
Our client, a Fortune 100 International Bank is creating a new business unit, called the Business Analyst Office. 
o    Participate in business requirements development for assigned products / projects within Program Hudson,(a large-scale transformational replacement of legacy core banking systems) as well as other Americas information technology initiatives.
o    Meet with the business, operations, middle office and technology to define, develop and document business requirements and other required documentation for assigned projects following a waterfall and use case approach.  
o    Develop a network of contacts to foster success in this role.
Business Analysis - Deliver business requirements and required documentation
o    Deliver thorough and complete business requirements and other detailed documentation that comply with Bank project management standard, policies and procedures allowing for successful selection and implementation of new or enhanced technology.
o    Work with users to elicit and identify business requirements through questionnaires and interviews.
o    Document business requirements using use cases and data flow diagrams.
o    Translate business requirements into functional specifications with appropriate data mapping and business logic.
o    Work with technology resources and management to ensure an accurate understanding of the work product to be produced. Participate in vendor evaluation and support proof of concept related activities.
o    Develop an in-depth understanding of the transaction / data flow for assigned products. 
o    Document data flow diagrams where needed
o    Supervise junior Business Analysts during requirements analysis and testing
o    Document and deliver detailed user acceptance test plans that will proof the capabilities of replacement / enhanced systems. 
o    Coordinate the creation of test cases and test scripts. 
o    Arrange for the participation of business, operations and middle office in the testing process. 
o    Work with business, operations, middle office and technology teams on migration, training and implementation plans
o    Promote straight through processing and automated data validation processes to enhance data quality and ensure the accuracy and completeness of data
o    Ensure data definitions, data mapping, development and maintenance of data lineage
o    Build solid working relationships with SOA (Systems Office for the Americas), ODA (Operations Division for the Americas), front and middle offices, HQA management and support functions and Head Office
o    Act as a reliable partner to business in assessing and addressing business needs. Foster a consultative approach to support business needs across the organization
o    Support management and the team by keeping them appropriately informed and working on other initiatives as directed
o    As requested, lead, develop and mentor more junior staff in the team
o    Project planning, resource estimation, creation of work break-down structure and scheduling of business tasks
o    Work with end users and build consensus through the project life cycle of requirements, testing, training and implementation
o    Report status to management on project progress
o    Identify and escalate related issues and risks
o    Exposure or experience in a Business Analysis / Project Management role preferably gained working in a financial institution such as an international corporate bank.
o    Ability to write business requirements for technology projects.
o    Relevant banking product experience is desirable especially one or more of the following: deposits, money market, foreign Exchange, Letters of credit, Trade Finance, Loans – bilateral, syndicated and agented.
o    Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. Able to understand and collaboratively solve business problems.
o    Roll-up the sleeves, positive, can-do attitude required.
o    Bachelors Degree is required
